What Are Those Little Icons Under Each Post??

You may be asking yourself what are those little icons under each post… well they allow you to add my posts to the many different news site and social bookmarking sites that are out there. If you have an account with digg, de.licio.us, newsvine, ma.gnolia, reddit or a number of other sites you can add my posts to their site. It’s as easy as a click of a button.

Help spread the word!

EDIT – I’ve removed the icons.

Slinky

Some people are like slinkies,
They really don’t have a purpose,
But they bring a smile to your face
when you push them down stairs.

No More Mister Nice Guy

Ok, so I’ve been pissy all day, work sucks, Juve lost, I totally forgot about ordering the cake for the Christening, the favors? yup, forget about them too. Needless to say, I’ve had better days.

So I’m sitting here reading through some emails and it only gets worse. I do web design, logo design and other web stuff on the side. Occasionally I get paid to do it, but mostly I do it for the love of doing it. Well it’s going to stop and today’s the day. I have been getting requests to design logos for local paintball teams, make websites for kids who are just starting out, helping newbies make sites, etc. What do I get in return? NOTHING. In many instances not even a thank you.

Take a particular team that asked me to do a logo for them a while ago. I quoted them a price for the work and they agreed to it, I designed roughly nine different samples for them to use and sent them the samples. Never heard back from them, until I get an email from some other kid asking me if I would do a logo for his team. I asked him how he heard of me and they said the a kid from a certain team recommended them to me. So I go searching for the teams site, which of course is pure shit and lo and behold… there’s the logo I did for them. They’re using a sample pic I made for them which looks like they tried editing to get rid of the SAMPLE written across the logo sample. They NEVER paid me for my work.

So with that being said all people are on notice, my services are no longer free. Any and all work comes with a charge. I’m sick of doing things and getting nothing in return. Luckily things have been turning around for me and I’ve got some paying jobs in the queue so those will be taking priority.

Quote of the Week – Pt. 63

“You know the one thing that’s wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say.”

Idiot of the Week – Pt. 49

Phillip Williams doubted whether he was being sold actual crack cocaine, police say. So he approached two uniformed Tampa officers and allegedly asked them to test his crack pipe so he could be sure.

Turned out Williams, 47, was getting the real thing, and he was arrested shortly after approaching the officers Tuesday morning.

Officers Wayne Easley and Gary Filippone were investigating a burglary and trying to catch loose dogs when Williams walked up, crack pipe in hand, and asked them to verify that he was getting real drugs, a report said.

When Williams grabbed Easley’s police vest, the officers put him in handcuffs, the report said. He was arrested after the residue in his pipe tested positive for crack cocaine.

Williams is listed in jail records as a security worker at MacDill Air Force Base. He is charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was still in jail Wednesday with bail set at $2,500. Jail records had no attorney information.
