So What Are They Trying to Advertise?

A commercial from Korea, but what are they trying to advertise?

CSS Reboot Spring 2006

In case you’re wondering why I redesigned the site yet again, I joined the CSS Reboot for Spring 2006. Nothing major, but I did want to explain a few things. If you’re wondering where the iTunes, del.icio.us links, Netflix queue and the feature to mark the most recent post on one of the many social bookmarking sites well just scroll all the way down, they’re now found just above the footer. The random musings will stay on the sidebar, along with the livesearch. I took some advice from the nice folks at 9rules, trying to make the site into a top notch blog.

Don’t forget that I’ve added the Video section where I will archive all the videos I post, which will be a weekly occurence.

So please let me know what you think of the redesign, I always appreciate comments.

Edit – One thing to note, there are a few quirks with IE6 ad 7, I’ll keep working on them but can’t guarantee anything. I would HIGHLY recommend you use Firefox or one of the other browsers. They’re far safer and far more compliant.

Wookieepedia

Love Star Wars? Have some extra time? Well Wookieepedia is the place for you. Wookieepedia is the Wikipedia for the world of Star Wars. They have all the information you could imagine from the SW movie, games, comics, books and more. If you need to know the name of an alien found in the Mos Eisley Cantina then Wookieepedia’s the place. It’s fun for the Star Wars fanboy or even if you’re just a casual fan of the series. It’s the everything and anything when it comes to information on Star Wars. You can visit them by clicking here.

Caprica

Wow, I didn’t see this one coming. Sci Fi announced the development of Caprica, a prequel spinoff of their hit show Battlestar Galactica. I’m a HUGE fan of the new show so this announcement sounds great.

Caprica would come from BSG executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick. The show would take place more than half a century before the events of BSG. The Twelve Colonies are at peace and living in a society not unlike our own, but where high-technology has changed the lives of virtually everyone for the better, or has it?

You can read the official announcement here.

May 17th – 9rules submission opens

9rules

Over the next few days you’ll be seeing a redesign to the site, yet again. I’m going for my final design, something that I think I’m going to stick with for the forseeable future. Why am I doing this? Well I want everything to be ready and working properly for the 9rules submission on May 17th.

For those that may not know, 9rules is a community site. To steal the words right out of their mouths…

“We highlight the very best web content in the world, and package it in a nice bow for you to unwrap. Our members discuss a wide range of topics from interface design and technology, to business, humor, and many others.”

9rules is a great place to see the best and brightest in the blogsphere, it’s a place that I hope to join one day.

So I apologize in advance if the postings have been a little thin this week. Once the redesign is done I’ll get back to the more regular stuff. In the mean time if you’re interested in video game reviews I write for a review blog called Press Start. You can check out some recent reviews I wrote for some XBox 360 games. You can get to Press Start by going to the links page or by simply clicking here.
