I’ve got four days off coming up so I will be relaxing and taking care of things that need tending too. With that being said I probably won’t be around much so don’t expect many updates if any.

We’ve experienced massive flooding here in Binghamton, although I haven’t since I live on a hill, but I know many who have. As of 10:30pm we’re still in a State of Emergency and it’s supposed to last until tomorrow. Work was closed today because of the flooding so I had the day off, and if it keeps up possibly tomorrow as well. It’s been so bad here that the Governor has called in the National Guard to help with the rescue efforts and any engineering tasks that need to be done.
With that being said it sounds like I’m on some airbase or something. Helicopters have been flying overhead all day, since around 1pm or so. I’ve seen Chinooks, Blackhawks, Little Birds and Huey’s in the air all day long and they’ve been flying so low. Many times they go overhead and the windows in the house will shake because they’re so low. You head on out and you can read the text on the outside of the choppers. They’re flying overhead about once every 15-20 minutes and it’s a couple at a time. Chinooks flying in formation or a Blackhawk and a Chinook, it’s just crazy. Now I’m not complaining, because God knows the work they’re doing and the help they’re bringing people but you’d think they fly a little higher. One was so close I could throw a rock and hit it. They’re still going overhead as a write this too. No complaints really and no real point to this story. Just thought I’d share it is all.
Now on the other hand, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is superb. Let’s get some more new eps out shall we? I don’t want to wait until November.
It needs to be reitereated that Tom Goes to the Mayor is one of the WORST shows in the history of television. How it was renewed for a second season is beyond me. Seriously people, what were you thinking?
